So good I came out of NG retirement to favorite.
I found this to be rather interesting.. Though I have never seen the film, I've known of it's inacurracies, but not to what degree. Good job on the research. I can tell that some time was spent into making this a quality piece, and it definately shows. While the original artwork is a bit plain, it works for this piece.
The presentation was the part that keeps me from giving a higher rating. It would seem that this cartoon was made for people that are on cocaine or red bull, because I tried to keep up with the constant flow of text and images on screen, but the narration was way too fast for that. I suppose that this could be the intended style, but I was torn between trying to read the screen and pay attention to the dialogue.
A stab in the face of some decent work.
Politics aside, I believe this cartoon was a decent slab of work. I can tell that it took the creators some time to piece it together. Some of the animation was quite well done, even though nearly every single use of material in this cartoon (namely the music) is in violation of some kind of copyright law.
I would have appreciated seeing some original characters used to kill some of these "fads". I find it ironic that Pokemon are viewed as saviors, yet some of the more mature characters like Salad Fingers are not.
I don't understand why it's so cool to bash on the hard work of these people. They worked on making their cartoons better, either written or artistically. They strived to succeed, and they deserve the attention and, in some cases, the money they earn. So go ahead and respond to my review with "flag this", but please learn to take criticism, because not everyone will like your cartoon. It's not fair to threaten people just because they don't like Pokemon or Limp Bizkit.
"SWEET SWOLLEN SATAN THIS IS A LONG ONE, yes please no politic ive had enough of george bush...Im glad you enjoyed this..fucken nice collab and all that, most of the charecters made were "original" exept the people that get killed, and no..its not cool to flame peoples work becuse there better then theres, they just THINK there cool becuse there 1 million miles away and they wouldent even bother to say it in there face, back to this.... fucken eh, its been mabey 30 flaming reviews and the angels sent you from above..i tip thy holy hat to you my good sir"
Dude, i'm not going to flag this, it's sort of ligit. Anyway, you DID fail to realize that we do this because we LIKE what these animators do! I LOVE "There She Is!!!" and it was fun to see it get destroyed man! It's all in love. If you would have read either the disclaimer or description, you would have CLEARLY seen that we weren't out to start wars.
Wow. Who would have thought you could have fun by virtually flipping burgers.. This has to be one of the best games I've played on Newgrounds in quite some time.
You should think about a second one! If there are any problems with this, it is that the cranking process was not very fluid when moving the mouse over the bubbles. Also, it was sometimes difficult to remember what was ordered. Perhaps you could add a screen to look up at with the order, like in real fast food.. Perhaps make that a feature in an "easy" mode or something.
Great job! Thanks for sharing your hard work with us!
Quite an interesting idea! However, the music was terrible, and I had to mute my sound. Good job.
I remember these things..
Is this in any association with Blackeye software? They made a bunch of games with the knp-mmf software.
Anyhoo, it was alright. The graphics were good, of course. There was no sound at all that I could find, that would have definately helped. If this is you guys, your next one should be something Eternal Daughter or Trigger Happy related. That would be sweet.
Sounds a lot like the tune used in the French film, "The City of Lost Children".
