I liked it, but...
If this were to be a tribute to some fellow named Jeremy as is stated in the credits, it was cheapened not only by the lame trailer in the menu, but by the scream following the credits.. I don't quite understand the significance of the scream, other than an attempt to startle folks at the end.
The whole thing was very, very complex. And I liked that it was all backwards.. You understand why everything is messed up towards the end.
I didn't feel any kind of sadness as most have, I simply wouldn't understand how this could envoke such emotions. Especially if it is a tribute to someone.. It's rather insensitive. The enigmatic little blip at the end that this is a tribute makes me wonder if there really is a person named Jeremy.
And in response to the inquiry about a young woman having half her brain removed in recent years.. I know her, she lives a block away from me. She isn't paralyzed, and she is able to function normally for the most part.. It was a big risk she took, but she was having multiple seizures everyday, and it was the only way to remedy that.
